Several people have asked, where did you come up with your Business name? Well, My mother’s name was Fern Nickels and I am Belinda Nuckols, married to Eddie NUCKOLS. Thus the Unique combo of NICKELS & NUCKOLS = “NIC-NUC CREATIONS”. Opening a craft shop for crafters to have an outlet to sell their items was always a dream of my moms. Sadly, on January 2, 2015 after an 11 year fight with Multiple Myeloma, Mama took her much deserved flight to Heaven. About 1 month later this little building close to our home on Hwy 64W became available yet needed a lot of remodeling and TLC. Through the next 7 months and multiple coats of purple and yellow paint, my husband and I finally were able to open the doors on Dec 1, 2015. My mother loved butterflies and believed our lives were just like them (Thus our Butterfly Logo displays colors of multiple cancers & illnesses) There is nothing in our lives that is so ugly or unforgivable that God cannot forgive and make beautiful!! We are all faced with everyday struggles in our lives & God is the answer for us all. We look forward to meeting new people through Nic-Nuc and growing and expanding with our business.
